Engagements Manager

This key multilayered role will help support our growth by understanding our clients' objectives, what success looks like to them, and delivering on it by ensuring we continue to provide high quality deliverables whilst maintaining a high level of service excellence and trust.

Ricston Ltd is looking to add additional capabilities and excellence to our team by adding a passionate, business focused Engagement Manager to our UK team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Ownership of Client Relationships
    Engagement managers oversee the Ricston services for specific clients, dealing with clients directly and often as their first Ricston point of contact. Help clients to understand the potential of a strategic partnership with Ricston by understanding their business goals and how our services will help them achieve these goals.
  • Manage Projects/Programs
    Lead on many different projects to ensure cohesion between project teams and to make sure that projects meet the initial brief from the client. Conduct meetings with employees and clients to find solutions to problems and strengthen partnerships.
  • Identifying and Selling Up Selling Opportunities
    A Key focus for Engagement Managers is to identify new or expanded service. Working with other members of the business development teams to generate new business and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Above all Engagement Managers must ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction are attained through successful relationship building, the highest standards of communication and excellence in the delivery of services.

The Perfect Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a team player who effectively integrates, motivates and builds relationships with cross-functional team members (local or remote), sponsors, key stakeholders, executives, and other individuals or organisations involved with or affected by the project.

This is a full-time role and would appeal to Project Managers and Tech Leads who are ready for a move into a wider commercial Program or Client ownership role where they can expand their skills to cover multiple projects, client teams, and develop new business for Ricston. A technical background with experience in leading software development teams, or technical consultancy would be an advantage.
